    • This tour will take you to "Ste. Marie Among The Huron's" near Midland Ontario. This is the site of a reproduction of a 16th century Indian Village, a very popular site. You can then drive through the scenic Muskoka stopping at artisan and craft studios. More details are available when you staying are here.
  • Magnetawan/Sudbury/North Bay/Magnetawan ..................................445 KM
    • This tour goes through Parry Sound on Georgian Bay, a chance to take the 30,000 Island Cruise on "The Bay", then north to Sudbury, Science North, Imax Theatre, the Big Nickel Mine are some of the possible stops. Then on to North Bay, The Chief Commanda Boat tour, the Timber Train, etc.

Turn South on HWY. 69 to Parry Sound approximate. 165 KM
Go east on HWY. 124 to HWY. 520 south to Magnetawan approximate. 54 KM
Follow HWY. 520 to the Nipissing road, the main street of the village.
Continue south on the Nipissing road to a Woodland Echoes sign and turn right to the resort.

 

Toronto International Airport to Magnetawan

Toronto International Airport is the closest major airport to Woodland Echoes. You have a few options for getting to the resort from Toronto, which is 2 1/2 hour's drive north of the city.

1. Airport shuttle to Burk's Falls then Magnetawan.

There are two trips each day, We will pick you up in Burk's Falls (20 minutes from the resort). Call our toll free number 1-888-661-3669 and we will make reservations for you.

The cost approximately $149 per person (Canadian dollars) return.

2:00 p.m. arrive at resort approximate. 6:00 p.m. 7:15 a.m. arrive Toronto approximate. 11:30 p.m.
6:30 p.m. arrive at resort approximate. 10:15 p.m. 12:00 noon arrive Toronto approximate. 4:30 p.m.

2. Bus service (Ontario North Land) to Burk's Falls.

There is bus service twice a day. it is a local bus and service is sometimes slow. Details can be found at their web site www.webusit.com or call 1-800-461-8558 toll free. We would pick you up in Burk's Falls.

3. Rail service (Northlander) to South River.

The train which leaves once a day from Toronto. We would pick you up in South River. This is a nice trip if you enjoy trains, and takes about 3 hours. Call toll free 1-800-461-8558 for times and prices. Information can be found on their web site, www.northlander.ca

4. Car rental.

Highways are direct and in excellent condition (a nice way to see parts of cottage country, and gives you a bit of flexibility when you are at the resort. You can get details from a local rental agent in your home town. If you wish we can arrange a car rental locally with pick up at the resort.

5. Stop Over Discount
