And the meals that were brought to us were all amazing. I think what made our stay most enjoyable was really everything, though. There wasn't anything about it that lessened the experience. I wish the weather had been better, but you can't really make requests, in that department. It cleared up long enough to get out in the boat, and that was enough for me. We always got prompt and friendly help when we needed something. The Thursday night fish fry was enjoyable. Return: yes Start Vacation: 7/10/2010 End Vacation: 7/17/2010 Any other comments?: I do have a couple of complaints. First, I was disappointed that the boat did not have a real working live well. It was essentially a bucket with a lid. Though it was better than nothing, I think it is deceptive to say that the boat has a live well when it clearly did not. Also, there were no oars for the boat. If I was out in the middle of the lake and the motor failed, all I would have to propel mysel were two flimsy paddles. You absolutely have to have oars in the boats. The motor worked just fine and I had no complaints about this. The bathroom in our cottage had water on the floor at times. I believe this may have come from condensation of water from the toilet tank. I suggest you take a look at this. Guest Name: Rob Reash |
| Owner' reply: We appreciate your comments. We will replace all the boats with paddles for oars as soon as we can get new ones. We had tried "pump" type live wells in the past but found they did not work well. Most of our guests seem to happy by being able to change the water with our scoop. Wish you had said something when you were in the cottage about the leak in the bath room. It is now fixed |
